In 2021, Sunny and Casais Group, a widely renowned construction group from Portugal, formed a joint venture to explore potential developments in the Iberian market. Initial investments were focused on a build-to-suit model for hotel chain B&B, but quickly developed to the idea of forming a new real estate developer focused on the residential market – First Properties.
